We organise and participate in a number of major motor sport events every year. The club periodically runs other events, some designed to give the novice experience in motor sport.

Hill climbing and sprinting are very popular forms of clubman’s motorsport in Britain, and with good reason. Events are held on private land or MOD airfields, and mainly on sealed or asphalt surfaces.

The club promotes two weekend Autocross events each year, both rounds of the ASWMC Autocross Championship, contributing to the discipline’s strong regional revival in recent years.
Tests of both reliability and ruggedness on difficult terrain – are famous for their demanding combination of long-distance sections between tests and (usually) steep hilly sections on muddy, rocky and slippery tracks or lanes.
Rallying is one of the most popular forms of motor sport in Britain; despite varying levels of modification ‘under the skin’, the cars look like those we all drive and have a crew of two – a driver and co-driver, or navigator – who work as a team.
The club attends a variety of local shows each year to display members’ competition cars, recruit new club members and engage the public to become interested in motor sport.
